Running programs for everyone.

Acheive your fitness goals and have fun doing it.

At Running Free we recognize that education and knowledge have as much to do with athletic success, as the gear you use. We beleive that there's no better teacher than hands-on experience. What you can't get from books, are professionals guiding you at every turn, and customizing your learning experience to suit your needs.

Our running workshops give you just that, instructors that are hand picked for their easy going approach towards teaching, their history of performance on the race course, and their love of the sport, not to mention their volume of knowledge of the many aspects of running.

Join us and you will discover that all of our workshops provide great value, fun, and motivation. Three things that we have found over the years, keep people coming back for more. Best of all, many of our workshops are free. Join one today at a Running Free location near you.

What's involved in a running workshop?
Each running workshop is lead by an experienced and qualified instructor, and involves a group run followed by a discussion on a different topic each week. Discussion topics can include: proper nutrition, footwear selection, injury prevention, race preparation, running form, training principles, motivation, and much more. Each workshop meets once a week for 8 to 18 weeks depending on the curriculum.

Our Start Running workshops focus on building the fundamental skills, knowledge, and fitness needed to run a 5 kilometer race. Even if you've never run a day in your life, we'll have you running 5 kilometers with confidence and a smile on your face! Half Marathon and Marathon workshops are geared towards participants who can already run comfortably for 45 minutes to an hour and half, and have the desire to complete a half or full marathon at the end of the workshop.
