How much will shipping cost? Its really simple! In the interest of making your life easier, when you shop at RunningFree.com shipping is always consistant, streamlined, easy to understand, and most of all... worry free!

We ship exclusively with Canada Post for Canadian orders, and with the United States Postal Service for American orders. Both were chosen with our customers in mind, due to their proven reliability, affordability, and large and established network of locations across the country.

*All orders that qualify for free shipping are shipped via Regular shipping. Qualifying orders must meet the dollar value minimum before taxes and after any coupons. If your order value drops below the minimum for your area, your order will be charged shipping at the regular rate.

Shipping times below are expressed in business days which do not include Weekends, or Canadian or Ontario civic holidays. American holidays are not considered business days when the package is travelling through the USA. All delivery times are approximate but usualy quite accurate. We cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the time specified, but we will do whatever we can to ensure that it does.

If you live in a major city center you order will likely arrive on the faster side of the time range given. If you're in a more rural area your order will probably arrive on the slower side of the time range for your zone. If you're in a truly remote area, your order may take a few additional days to arrive. Please see our list of remote areas and check if your postal code is listed.

A Special Note to our American Customers
Orders shipped across the Canada/US border can sometimes be delayed in Customs. This step of the shipping process is unfortunately beyond our control. Potential custom delays are reflected in the relatively wide-range of delivery times quoted above. We have tried to minimize the impact on you by using Canada Post, a reliable cross-border shipper. Tracking for your order will show you that it has been shipped and will usually indicate several transfer points in Canada. Once your order crosses the border however, there will not be any further tracking info available until your order arrives. We do sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you are shipping to an address with one of the following postal codes, the address is considered remote, and remote shipping rates will apply to your order. Normally, remote rates will cover most orders but if your order requires additional shipping costs one of our staff will contact you first before processing any additional charges.

Remote areas may also take a little longer to deliver to. A few extra days may be required to deliver your order based on the Estimate Shipping Time chart.

Store Pickup is available at our Markham store location. The Store Pickup option will be available to select during checkout if your shipping address is within the Greater Toronto Area. If your shipping address is not within the GTA, the Store Pickup option will not appear.

When your order is ready to be picked up, you will be notified via email. Please do not visit the Markham store before you receive this notification or your order may not be ready to pickup when you arrive!

Orders that contain items that are all In Stock are usually processed for pickup within 1 business day. If there are any items that are not In Stock, you will be notified via email if those items are available to be ordered, and again when your order is ready for pick up. Please see Product Availability for more information on special orders.

There are items available for purchase within our store that are unusually large, heavy or awkwardly shaped. Shipping companies charge additional fees to move these goods and storage/movement within our warehouse is more expensive.

In order to offer these items it is necessary to charge an additional oversize fee. All oversized items will be subject to a $15.00 charge (per oversized item) that will be applied during checkout. If you are ordering Oversized items to be shipped to remote areas, an additonal $10.00 charge will apply for a total Oversized fee of $25.00.

Oversized Shipping Icon If an item that you have selected has such a fee, you will see the oversize icon appear on that item's detail page. Oversize amounts are calculated separately from shipping however, should you decide to return an oversized item, you will not receive a credit for the oversize fee.

You can track your order by entering your tracking number on Canada Post's website.
When your order is shipped a tracking number is created for your package. That tracking number can be found in three areas:

  • In the View Orders section My Account area of this website.
  • In the Shipping Confirmation email we sent you after your order was processed for shipping.
  • Canada Post tracking emails you receive all contain your order's tracking number.
    • Delivery Information
    All orders are delivered during business days. If someone is not available to accept the package when delivery is attempted, a card notice will be left instead. This notice will tell you the address of the Post Office your order can be picked up at. When you visit the post office, be sure to bring the notice as well as photo ID so that you can claim your package. If not picked up within approximately 14 days, your package will be returned to us. Any return shipping incurred will be billed to your credit card. Original shipping costs will not be refunded.

    Shipping times are approximate but usually quite accurate. If you still have not received your order a few days after the estimated time frame please get in touch with us.
