How is your order shipped?

We will hand-select the best shipping provider for your area so you don't even have to think about it. Full end-to-end tracking is provided by couriers such as Canada Post, Canpar, UniUni and others.

Is shipping refundable?

Shipping is non-refundable.

What about return shipping?

You can actually get it for free, as long as you meet any of these criteria.

How fast will I get it?

Generally, orders shipped via Regular shipping methods arrive within 4-10 business days after they have shipped. Express shipping can arrive within 1-5 business days after it has left our warehouse. You should always allow a day or so for processing before it's actually out the door. The exact delivery time can be hard to pin down, but it is most often impacted by how far you are from a major city center. For urban areas you'll often receive it faster than the approximate delivery times. For areas farther from urban centers your package may arrive on the longer end of the approximate delivery times.

To our American Customers

Orders shipped across the Canada/US border can sometimes be delayed in Customs. This step of the shipping process is unfortunately beyond our control. Potential custom delays are reflected in the relatively wide-range of delivery times quoted above. We have tried to minimize the impact on you by using Canada Post, a reliable cross-border shipper. Tracking for your order will show you that it has been shipped and will usually indicate several transfer points in Canada. Once your order crosses the border however, there will not be any further tracking info available until your order arrives. Our apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING COSTS
Under certain uncommon circumstances such as excessively large or bulky orders, or when an area is underserviced by shipping providers we work with, the shipping cost may need to be adjusted to fit the conditions or area of the order. If for some reason a higher shipping charge is necessary, we will notify you via email for your approval before shipping your order.

Your order will be shipped to the shipping address you provide when you submit your order, so please check your order confirmation or order details in your account immediately to ensure you have entered the correct shipping address. If you discover you've made a mistake, contact us via email or phone right away so that we can try to make the correction before it is shipped.

If you provide incomplete or incorrect shipping information there are several possible scenrarios:

  • If the shipping address postal code provided was wrong, the shipper may be able to correct and re-route to your correct postal code. This is automatic and is often successful but not always. The fees for any address correction required after the package has been shipped are as follows:

  • Re-direct Fee: $15
  • AND
  • Re-shipping fee: $6 (GTA), $10, or $15 (Remote) based on the new shipping address postal code.

  • If the redirect is successful the re-direct fee and re-shipping fee are non-refundable. If your package cannot be re-directed no fees will be charged. These are applicable on orders shipped via Canada Post. UPS package fees may vary. Please get in touch for more info.

  • If you accidentally enter a valid address that you no longer reside at, the current resident at that address will receive the package. As long as they don't accept or pickup the package, it will likely be returned to us within 10-14 business days. If they keep the package or it is not returned to us you'll need to contact the resident and work it out with them directly. There are no refunds for orders in this situation so check your shipping address carefully before and after submitting your order. Please get in touch with us right away to see if a redirect is possible.

  • There is a small window of time in which we may be able to request an address change or redirect by the shipping company after your package has left our premises before the shipping carrier can no longer redirect it. Please contact us immediately to see if anything can be done. Re-direct nd re-shipping fees will be charged upon any successful address change or redirection.

  • Any package returned to us due incorrect address information provided will be charged for the return shipping and for the package being re-shipped to you.


  • In any of the above cases, it can take 10-14 business days for your package to be returned to us. Read more about how addressing errors are returned and refunded here.

    Store Pickup is available at Running Free Markham.

    When your order is ready to be picked up, you will receive a Ready for Pick-Up email. Please do not visit the store before you receive this notification or your order may not be ready to pickup when you arrive.

    If all of your items are In Stock, your order is usually processed for pick-up in Markham within 1 business day. If there are any issue with your order we will contact you via email.

    To pick up your order simply show your Ready for Pick-Up email containing your Pick-Up Code. If you would like someone else to pickup your order, they will need your Ready for Pick-up email. Photo ID may also be required, please provide their name in the Orders Notes field during checkout or notify us via email.

    Store Pick-Up Cancellation
    Orders not picked up or cancelled within 30 days cannot be refunded. Exchange or store credit only. Orders not picked up within 45 days will be automatically returned for store credit. Store credit does not expire and is available on the account you placed the order with.

    There are items available for purchase within our store that are unusually large, heavy or awkwardly shaped. Shipping companies charge additional fees to move these goods and storage/movement within our warehouse is more expensive.

    In order to offer these items it is necessary to charge an additional oversize fee. All oversized items will be subject to a $15.00 charge (per oversized item) that will be applied during checkout. If you are ordering Oversized items to be shipped to remote areas, an additonal $10.00 charge will apply for a total Oversized fee of $25.00.

    Oversized Shipping Icon If an item that you have selected has such a fee, you will see the oversize icon appear on that item's detail page. Oversize amounts are calculated separately from shipping however, should you decide to return an oversized item, oversize charges are non-refundable.
